Description & Benefits
PLANTAIN LEAVES
An essential fibrous plant well-known to rabbits, to enrich their botanical routine in a targeted and consistent manner. One of the wild plants that a rabbit would naturally consume in its environment.
BENEFITS
Plantain is a plant naturally rich in plant fibers, mucilage, tannins, vitamin C, and calcium.
Its plant fibers enrich and supplement the hay intake, contributing to regular transit and dietary consistency on a daily basis. It is one of the most naturally suitable plants for rabbits, it is part of their natural environment and fully corresponds to their digestive system.
Its mucilage contributes to a gentle texture in the digestive tract, promoting regular and consistent function. They integrate naturally into a structured feeding routine, without aggressiveness for a sensitive digestive system.
Its natural tannins complement this action by providing a slight astringency that contributes to overall intestinal balance.
Its natural vitamin C enriches the diet with plant antioxidants. Its calcium contributes to the mineral balance of the diet; used in small quantities and in rotation, its contribution remains perfectly consistent within a varied botanical routine.
USAGE
As a supplement to hay and botanical mixes. In small quantities, gradually introduced, in rotation with other essential plants to maintain balanced intake over time.
GOOD TO KNOW
Plants naturally dried at low temperature, without any treatment, to preserve all their natural nutrients.
As with hay, slight crumbling or some residue may be observed depending on the nature of the plant; this is simply a sign of a raw and authentic product, just as it exists in nature.
Upon receipt, place your sachets in the freezer for 48 hours — a simple and sufficient precaution. As with any untreated raw plant, food moth eggs may occasionally be present. This is a natural phenomenon, posing no danger to your rabbit.
In case of observed hatching, do not open the sachet and place it directly in the freezer for 48 hours. Your plants will still be perfectly fine to give afterwards. Store in a dry and airy place.
